Ask students to write about the most confusing or unclear part of the concept or the lesson. Make sure they are responding privately so that you can get feedback that isn't filtered through what their peers will think of their answer. This will let you know what each student is thinking while letting them know that some confusion at this stage is totally normal.

Directed Paraphrasing

Students privately restate in their own words what they believe the main points of the lesson were.

Pros and Cons Grid

Students analyze the advantages and disadvantages or costs and benefits of two different options.
